Race Description

• Celebration: Celebrate the 26th Anniversary of Waynesville Parks & Recreation with the Rec Jam 5k!
• Course: This course starts and finishes at the Waynesville Recreation Center and takes runners on a scenic tour of the greenway.
• Elevation: With just ~60ft of elevation gain, this is a fairly flat, fast course for both competitive runners and families.
• Accessibility: The Rec Jam 5k welcomes walkers and is stroller friendly!

New Features

• Fun Run Loop: The Fun Run Loop is 1 lap of the Waynesville Recreation Center track and includes a bib and finisher medal!
• Start Time: The Fun Run Loop starts at 8:30 AM, and parents and guardians are welcome to run alongside their kiddo.
• Cost: Just $5!
