Join KC Pet Project on Saturday, April 18, 2026 to compete in the KC Pet Project 5K! The race will take place in historic Swope Park.

• Race Bib: All registrants will receive a race bib.
• Commemorative Medal: Participants will receive a commemorative race medal.
• T-Shirt Option: Registrants will have the opportunity to add on a commemorative t-shirt in their registration for an additional $8 purchase.

You can sign-up today for one of Kansas City’s favorite new races and support the 16,000 homeless, abandoned, and often injured pets that will arrive at KC Pet Project each year. Don’t miss our 3rd annual KC Pet Project 5K in Swope Park!

🐶 Pet Policy

Please note, while this event supports pets in our community, we ask that you leave your 4 legged friends at home (with the exception of service animals). We will have some shelter pets on the route of the race for our participants to see.
