Donut Run 2-Mile! July 18th, 10:30am

The Donut Run is a unique and fun race for the whole family! There are donuts along the course, who does that?! We do!

Be sure to check out the Donut Deduction chart below, along with some examples and a few of the rules. We'll certainly announce the procedure and rules on race day, but for now, see below.

Rule #1 is HAVE FUN!

Who: All are welcome! The course is also stroller friendly!

What: Donut Run 2026

Why: For Fun! - And in support of Byron Cross Country!

Where: Byron Middle School - 601 4th St NW Byron

When: July 18th, 2025 - 10:30am

What Else? - You can run the 5K, 2 Mile or Kids Mile before the Donut Run!

  You are not eligible to win any awards if you fail to eat any donuts

  Donut Station One Rules

  You are allowed to eat unlimited donuts at this station

  You must eat at least one Donut or realize you will not be allowed a Donut at Station Two

  Make sure a volunteer gives you credit for the qty of donuts consumed at this station

  Donut Station Two Rules:

  You Can Eat unlimited donuts during your 2nd stop!

  Remember, you can not eat any donuts at this station, if you failed to eat one the first time around.

  Donut Station Three Rules:

  Maximine Donuts allowed is 3 - so if you have a big goal, you need to eat up during station 1 & 2!

  Scoring Examples

  If you run a 25 Minute 5K - and eat 2 Donuts your final result is as follows

  25:00 - 1:00 = 24:00

  If you run a 28 Minute 5K - and eat 12 Donuts your final result is as follows

  28:00 - 24:00 = 4:00

  Tie Breaker

  If we end in a tie - The person who consumed the most donuts wins!

  Race Time Limit

  The course is open 75 Minutes - Failure to complete in that time results in Disqualification
