🍩 Event Overview

• Purpose: In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Brightpoint and the Granite City Police Department invite you to participate in our race to end child abuse.
• Proceeds: Benefit the programs and services offered by the Southern Region of Brightpoint.
• Date: 2026-04-11
• Location: 2900 Benton Street, Granite City, IL

🏃‍♂️ Registration Information

• Registration Fee: $30 for ages 19+, $10 for ages 6-18, 5 & under free. Registration includes a t-shirt for those who register by April 10th.
• Deadline: Online registration will be available until 11:59pm on April 23rd.
• Check-In: Race Day from 8am-9am on 29th Street near Park Pavilion #5.
• Timeframes: 8am-9am for Check-In and Kids Activities: 9:15am for Welcome & Intro: 9:30am for 5K & Fun Run Kickoff.

🏅 Awards and Medals

• Competitive Awards: Offered only to 5K participants ages 6 & over. Categories include Overall male and female and top 2 finishers in various age groups.
• Finisher's Medals: Available to 5K and Fun Run participants of all ages.
• T-Shirts: Guaranteed for those who complete online registration by April 10th: late registrants may not receive a shirt.
• Raffle and Auction: Basket raffle on race day: silent auction items will also be available.

📸 Photo and Cancellation Policy

• Photo Disclaimer: A photographer will be present, and photos may be used on social media or in promotional materials.
• Cancellation: If the event is canceled due to inclement weather, registration fees are non-refundable and become a donation.
