The 16th Annual Running the Grove 5k celebrates the life of Jeff Putman.

Race Shirt

• Guaranteed Shirt: All runners registered before our T-shirt deadline are guaranteed a short-sleeve race shirt.

Medals and Prizes

• Trophies: Trophy for Overall Male and Female Winners.
• Medals: Medals for 1st & 2nd Age Division Winners (Under 12, 13-15, 16-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66+).

Race Day Schedule

• Packet Pick-up: 7:00-7:45 AM.
• Announcements: 7:45 AM.
• 5K Race Start: 8:00 AM.
• Fun Run Start: 9:00 AM.
• Awards: 9:30 AM.

• Where is the race? Liberty Grove Baptist Church Loretto, Tennessee.
• When is the event? Saturday, September 19, 2026 - 8:00 am CT RACE START.
• What time should I arrive? Please plan to arrive prior to 7:30 AM.
• Can I register on race day? Yes -- registrations allowed until 30 minutes before race start.

Additional Information

• Packet Pick-up: Starting at 7:00 am race day morning at the Liberty Grove Baptist Church.
• Group Registrations: Yes, you can pick up everyone’s bib with their full name.
• Are T-shirts included? Yes, if registered before the t-shirt deadline.
• Awards: Trophies for Overall Winners and medals for Age Division winners.

Parking and Accessibility

• Parking: FREE Parking available on-site at Liberty Grove Baptist Church.
• Strollers: Yes, strollers are welcome at the back of the pack.
• Allowed on Course: Only runners, joggers, walkers, baby strollers/joggers, restrained pets, and wheelchairs are allowed.

Race Details

• Timing: This event is professionally RFID chip timed by Race Ready Events.
• Course Certification: The 5K and 1 Mile courses are not certified.
• Course Terrain: There are hills along the course with a grade of 5-10%.
• Participation: All ages and paces are welcome: walking is encouraged.
