Soles for Souls 5k Trail Run

Event Overview

It's the Costume Edition! Come in your favorite Fall Flair or Character.

• Theme: Costume Edition with a focus on Fall Flair.
• Prizes: Fun Fall prizes for best costume for each age category.
• Annual Event: This is our 4th annual 5k through a mix of hard-surface and wooded trails.
• Purpose: Support our neighbors experiencing homelessness and poverty.

The Course

Expect uneven terrain and changes between hard surfaces and a wooded trail system. Not stroller friendly!

• Terrain: Uneven and varying surfaces.
• Trail System: Mix of hard surfaces and trails.
• Challenges: Expect natural obstacles and changing footing.
• Scenery: Enjoy our beautiful Lincoln County.

Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick up: Oct. 23rd from 5:30-7:30pm at Lake Norman Brewery in Denver, NC.

Awards Breakdown

• Costume Awards: Best Costume in each age group.
• Age Group Awards: Fastest timed male and female age 12-17.
• Age Group Awards: Fastest timed male and female age 18-29.
• Age Group Awards: Fastest timed male and female age 30-44.

Age Group Awards Continued

• Age Group Awards: Fastest timed male and female age 45-59.
• Age Group Awards: Fastest timed male and female age 60+.
• Overall Award: Overall fastest time male and female.
• Finishers: All finishers receive a race medal, including Fun Run participants 11 and under.

Race Participation Details

Runners 12+ receive a swag bag. All timed runners will receive a 2026 race t-shirt designed by a Denver area student.

• Cost: Runners 11 and under are free. T-shirts are not included.
• T-Shirt Purchase: Option to purchase specially designed shirts for $15.
• Sizes: Youth small and youth medium available.
• No Charge: There is a No T-shirt option for no charge.
