About Kamal Green

• Legacy: The memorial 1 Mile Run/Walk Fundraiser was established to honor the life and legacy of Kamal Asante' Green, whose generous heart, compassion, service, inspiring presence, and kindness left a profound impact on everyone he encountered.
• Service: Kamal passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. He served in the United States Navy for 10 years as a medical technician and physical therapy technician.
• Awards: During his service, he received numerous recognitions, awards, and earned several professional certifications, including personal trainer.
• Education: Kamal was actively pursuing a degree in Kinesiology to fulfill his dream of being a Physical Therapist.
