• Event Name: The Liam Strong Charity Beach Run
• Purpose: Created to honor Liam Fredric Batten, who was lost to childhood cancer
• Inspiration: Liam inspired those around him in ways beyond words
• Goal: To give back to the doctors and nurses at North Carolina Children’s Hospital

• Availability: Parking is available through metered parking
• Payment: Can be paid with credit card

PACKET PICKUP

• Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
• Location: Flying Machine Oyster Bar (530 Causeway Drive, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480)
• Time: 4-6 PM
• Note: Last chance pick-up available on race morning but it’s encouraged to pick-up on Saturday

• 8:00 AM: Last Chance Packet Pick Up
• 8:50 AM: Check-in ends (late registration allowed but timing will be unavailable)

• 8:50 AM: LOVE for LIAM speeches and important announcements
• 9:05 AM: 5K Starts
• 9:15 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run Starts

AWARDS

• Kids 1 Mile Fun Run: Top male and female finisher under 18, Top 3 boys and girls - 8 and under: and 9-17
• 5K: Top Male and Female Overall Finisher
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female Finishers in age groups - 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• Registration: All race registration is online
