Ronnie's Run

Our Story

• Heartbreak: In a single moment, everything can change—and for our family, that moment came on December 10, 2014, when we lost our beloved son, Ronnie.
• Ronnie's Legacy: Ronnie’s Run was established in 2015 as a way to honor his life, preserve his memory, and bring hope to others facing similar pain.
• Family Tragedy: On March 22, 2026, our daughter, Sharon, passed away from liver failure. She was a Registered Nurse, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother.
• Mission: Our mission is to bring awareness, education, hope, and resources to those struggling and to their families.

• Date: 12/05/2026
• Location: Dorothy York Innovation Academy, Apollo Beach, FL
• Registration: Registration open until the day before the event, no race day registration.
• Participant Limit: 1500

Race Day Information

• Packet Pickup: Dates TBD, local participants are encouraged to pick up their packets beforehand.
• Prayer and National Anthem: We will begin with a prayer and the National Anthem.
• Start Time: TBD
• Course Hydration: Hydration will be available on course.

Additional Guidelines

• PETS &: STROLLERS: Please leave pets at home for everyone's safety. Strollers are allowed but should line up at the back.
• Awards: Overall awards only (Top 3 Male and Female in 5K &: 1 Mile).
• Virtual Registrations: Sorry, we can only accommodate virtual registrations within the USA due to higher postage.
