Purpose

• Community Focus: Join us for the 3rd annual Open Door 5K!
• Support Cause: This Halloween, we invite you to come together for a cause that creates stronger families and healthier communities.
• Fundraising Goal: The Open Door Monster Dash 5K will raise funds for OB Right Start.
• Beneficiaries: Open Door Health Services’ program that helps expectant and new parents receive the care and support they need for a healthy pregnancy, a healthy baby, and a healthy future.

Race Route

• Starting Point: The race begins at Canan Commons.
• Scenic Course: This beautiful 5K route runs through the heart of downtown Muncie.
• Highlight Areas: Participants will enjoy routes through the historic Minnetrista campus, as well as both White River and Cardinal greenways.
• Experience: A picturesque setting for runners of all ages.

Community Activities

• Trunk-or-Treat: This year, we will also host a trunk-or-treat with fellow community organizations.
• Kids Dash: There will be a kids dash—all in Canan Commons.
• Family Friendly: Come out for the race, the treats, and to support the community.
• Health Initiative: Together, we can help every little pumpkin get the healthiest start possible!
