LIVE LIFE IN COLOR 5K & 1-Mile Run

EVENT OVERVIEW

RC3, Recovery Concepts Community Center (non-profit), is a community center located in Wilson, NC, for people who are in recovery from alcohol and other substances. Live Life in COLOR!! This color-filled run celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality. The run begins at the Greater Wilson Rotary Park in Wilson, NC and goes through the Cavalier Terrace neighborhood on Saturday, September 12th, at 8am. Come run a 5k or 1 mile fun run and support the substance use prevention and recovery support efforts in Wilson County. This event is open to pets and strollers. We welcome families, groups, and individual runners.

All color used during the run is non-toxic and not harmful if ingested.

REGISTRATION FEES

• Early Bird Registration: Now til July 30, 2025 - 5k - $35, 1-Mile - $15
• Regular Registration: July 31, 2025 until day of race - 5k - $40, 1-Mile - $20
• Shirt and Swag Bag: Must register by August 16th to guarantee a shirt and swag bag.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The route is set in the Cavalier Terrace neighborhood of Wilson, NC. There are no hills and plenty of shade. This scenic route can be enjoyed by all levels of runners.

PARKING INFORMATION

There is limited parking at the park itself, but there is plenty of street parking across from the starting line.

REMEMBRANCE BANNER

This year we would like to print a remembrance banner to remember loved ones who were lost to overdose. If you would like to add your loved one(s) to the banner, you can add it on when you register. If you registered before we added this option, please email us at aharris@wilcoprevention.org and we can do it separate from the registration.
