✨ Event Overview

On June 7, 2025 we will be hosting our Annual LOVE like JJ 5k to benefit LOVE like JJ! This year’s event will again have both In Person and Virtual options, you can walk or run - however and wherever it works best for you! Our event was created to celebrate JJ's bright light, and fundraise so LOVE like JJ can continue spreading joy and supporting children in our community.

🎯 Benefit

Purpose: Race proceeds will go to support the great work of LoveLikeJJ, a 501(c)(3) organization.
Investment: Love like JJ believes the best investment we can make is in our children to ensure they all have fulfilled basic needs and the opportunity to succeed.
Community Engagement: Their goal is to engage the local community and to provide practical support to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
Service Dogs: Money raised through the LOVE like JJ 5k will go toward placing One Service Dog for Mason High School and 2 Service Dogs to the Mad River School District.

📅 Event Details

Registration: Everyone who registers by May 13, 2025 will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2025 performance t-shirt and commemorative medal.
In Person Highlights: The In Person 5k will have music, drinks and snacks, and an opportunity to support our sponsors.
Kids Activities: Kids who register will enjoy fun activities and will receive 1 FREE Italian Ice from Chill Out Truck.
Timeline: 7:30 am: Check-in Opens, 8:20 am: Race Line Up and Announcements, 8:30 am: 5k Begins, 9:30: Winners Announced.

✨ New for 2025

LOVE like JJ feels fortunate that our event draws all levels of athletes. To assist participants in achieving their desired race time, new this year the LOVE like JJ 5k will have a staggered race start time:

8:45 am: Competitive Runners
8:48 am: Leisure Runners and Walkers

Male and Female: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over

Top Male and Female in each age division

🌐 Virtual Option

If you cannot make it to our In Person event, you can still support the event by doing your own 5K on your course. You can submit your time to our Virtual results page.

💲 Registration Fee

Now through May 1, 2025: $30 for Adults. $20 for Kids 17 and under.
May 2 through Race Day: $35 for Adults. $25 for Kids 17 and under.
Shirt and Medal: Everyone who registers by May 13, 2025 will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2025 shirt AND commemorative medal.
Chip Timing: This year's 5K event will be timed using MyLaps Disposable bib tags.
