2026 Outer Banks Century

Event Overview

Welcome to the inaugural Outer Banks Century (OBXC), presented by the One More Mile Foundation.

OBXC is a fully supported cycling event through the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina, created to raise funds and awareness for children battling cancer through the Great Cycle Challenge and Children’s Cancer Research Fund.

Ride Options

• Distance: Century (100 miles)
• Support: All routes are clearly marked and supported.

• Rest Stops: Fully stocked rest stops
• SAG Vehicles: SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles
• Ride Support: Ride support and mechanical assistance
• Event Gear: Event t-shirt (while supplies last)
• Finish Line: Finish line food and refreshments
• Commemorative Item: Commemorative finisher item

Rider Expectations

• Safety Gear: Helmets are required.
• Obedience: Riders must obey all traffic laws and ride predictably.
• Headphones: Headphones are discouraged for safety reasons.
• Mechanical Preparedness: Riders should be prepared to repair minor mechanical issues such as flat tires.
• Weather Policy: The event will take place rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe by event organizers.

Fundraising

Your participation helps fund pediatric cancer research and support programs for children and families affected by cancer. Additional fundraising beyond registration is encouraged but not required.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup details, ride guide, parking information, and final route maps will be emailed to all registered participants prior to the event.
