Join us for The Breakaway — a gritty gravel race through the Flint Hills, starting and finishing at the iconic Echo Cliff Park in Maple Hill, Kansas. Go the extra mile on some fantastic gravel, push through the dust, and discover what it takes to break free from the ordinary.

The Sprint – 13 Miles | 958 ft Elevation

• Short: Perfect for those who want to test their legs without going all in.
• Ideal for beginners: Great way to build confidence on gravel.
• Scenic loop: Packed with beautiful gravel and rolling hills.
• Same route: As last year, featuring an out 6.5 mile and back 6.5 route.

The Quick Break – 25 Miles | 1,548 ft Elevation

• Fast & fierce: Designed for riders ready to taste the challenge.
• Wide horizons: Experience the beauty of the Flint Hills.
• SAG + First Aid: Support to keep you fueled and flying.

The Breakout – 46 Miles | 2,716 ft Elevation

• Challenge: Longer and designed for those who crave the grind.
• Demanding climbs: Expect to push yourself.
• Support stations: Includes SAG + First Aid to keep you rolling strong.

The Full Breakaway – 72 Miles | 4,173 ft Elevation

• Farther into Flint Hills: Experience long gravel stretches and sustained climbs.
• Gravel experience: Designed for riders who appreciate both the grind and views.
• Full support: SAG and First Aid Stations will support you throughout.
