About this race
HOT SPRINGS ENDURO
DATE: October 24-25, 2026
LOCATION
The Hot Springs Enduro takes place in the Northwoods Trails system located in Hot Springs National Park. This trail system houses well over 30 miles of trails ranging from beginner green trails to double black for the experts out there looking to push the limits. The AES Enduro is being held in conjunction with the Gudrun Mountain Bike Festival - a three-day mountain bike festival featuring dual slalom, Strider races and the Atilla the Hun XC races. There’s something for everyone. Come for AES and stay for the rest.
REGISTRATION
Registration opens Friday, June 12th at 8am with participation based on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Entry Limit: Organizers reserve the right to limit overall event participation.
- Inclusions: Each participant’s entry includes a one-day competition with up to 4-7 stages and 10-20 total miles of rider-designed racing with dedicated pre-race practice times the day prior to the race.
- Course Details: Sufficiently marked courses with maps emailed to participants the week of the event.
- Aid Stations: Lively mid-race aid stations with access to professional neutral mechanics and medical support.

EVENT SCHEDULE
The final event schedule with packet pickup, official pre-ride, and start times will be released the week of the event.
- Friday: Early pre-riding is allowed (some stages may still be marked). 4PM-7PM | Early Check-In | Location TBA.
- Saturday: 9AM-4PM | Check-In & Official Practice Day.
- Sunday: 8AM-10AM | Timing Chip Pick-Up according to Wave Times. Late Check-In available. 9AM-3PM | Race Day. 4PM | Podium Awards.

DRY CAMPING
Limited dry camping spots at the Race Venue will be available to reserve during event registration. Please refer to the event’s online registration service for additional details.
RESTAURANTS
In Hot Springs you can refuel with BBQ, pizza and a local micro brew, fresh catfish or homemade taffy. Visit hotsprings.org for a few ideas.
SAFETY
This is not the time to skimp on protective equipment. Helmets are required to be worn on course during official event times and we highly suggest a full-face helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads.
TEMPERATURE
In October, Hot Springs, Arkansas, experiences mild and comfortable autumn weather. Daily highs average around 77°F (25°C), cooling down to average nighttime lows of about 53°F (12°C).
WATER & SNACKS
While hydration will be available at select locations on course, riders are encouraged to plan to carry at least 50-60 ounces of water and enough snacks to sustain themselves under strenuous exercise.
NICE TO HAVES
Bug spray, sunscreen, spare tubes, pump or CO2, plugs, patches and other parts.
DOGS
Dogs are allowed but are required to be on a leash at all times. No exceptions.
TRASH
If you pack it in, pack it out. We are guests. Please follow all event sustainability and recycling requests.
RACE DAY MEAL
A post-race meal will be provided to racers and volunteers on Race Days only. Redeemable meal tickets will be provided at the Registration & Timing tent.
WAIVER
All participants will be required to sign a waiver of liability prior to competing in the Arkansas Enduro Series.
REFUND POLICY
Arkansas Enduro Series events are rain or shine, and refunds will not be issued except under extreme circumstances. The Event Organizer reserves the right to adjust the schedule due to any unforeseen circumstances including rescheduling the event to a future date.
