About this race
What is the Trailblazer Trek?
The Trailblazer Trek is a charity bike ride supporting Forsyth Technical Community College Athletics and hosted by Forsyth Tech Athletics, on Sunday, April 11, 2027. Forsyth Tech Athletics started their athletic programs in 2025-2026 with Esports, Women's Court Volleyball and Men's Basketball.
Route Descriptions
All routes begin and end at the Forsyth Technical Community College Northwest Campus in King, N.C. rain or shine. Aid stations stocked with water, snacks, and energy drinks will be provided along the 36-mile and 60-mile routes. Maps and computer files will be provided.
Trailblazer Challenge:
- Distance: Approximately 60 miles
- Terrain: Follows rolling roads in Forsyth and Stokes Counties
- Midway Point: Hanging Rock State Park
- Climbing Option: Riders can choose to tackle the climb or bypass it

- Distance: Approximately 36 miles
- Terrain: Follows gentle roads in Forsyth County
- Challenge Level: Suitable for those looking for a challenge but with less elevation change

- Distance: Approximately 8 miles
- Ideal For: Participants looking to have fun in a more relaxed capacity
- Terrain: Follows mostly flat roads with some minor elevation change

Schedule
- 8:00 a.m. - Check-in opens (pick up your swag bag and sign-in)
- 9:00 a.m. - All bikers depart
- 1:00 p.m. - All bikers must be finished on routes
Weather
We will ride rain or shine.
Age Restriction
- If rider is 14 years of age or younger, must have a registered adult rider accompany them the entirety of course.
Refunds and Cancellations
Since this event is a fundraiser, there will be no refunds. Please consider your registration a donation if you are not able to attend.
