Categories

Full Hundo

• Challenge: This is the whole enchilada. Don't select this category without knowing that you are in for one hell of a challenge.
• Climbing: This route is somewhere between 7,000 and 10,000 vertical feet of climbing (depending on the GPS).
• Difficulty: It has broken many very experienced cyclists.

3/4 Hundo

• For Beginners: A great ride for those on the fence about the whole course.
• Experience: Enjoy gravel, great views, and a challenge.
• Significant Challenge: Although it is shorter, it remains a significant challenge for many experienced cyclists.

Metric Hundo

• Perfect Fit: Ideal ride for those who want to try but find the full hundo too much.

A Lovely 40

• Fun Option: Added for those who want to enjoy the event without going all the way.
• Terrain: Plenty of gravel, elevation, scenery, and smiles.
• Expectation: Do not expect an easy ride: expect monster climbs and challenging descents.

Event Details

Registration

• Open Date: Registration opens at 12:01 AM on July 16 for a limited time.
• Waitlist: If sold out, try another category or the waitlist: many who stayed on the waitlist made it in last year.

Waitlist

• No Inquiries: Please do not contact regarding your position on the waitlist.
• Confirmation: You will receive confirmation from Bike Reg if added.
• Removal: You can remove yourself from the waitlist if your plans change.

Transfer/Cancel

• Self-Service: Transfers can now be done on your own for a limited time.
• Transfer Fee: A $15 transfer fee will apply if you change your mind about the ride.
• Cancellation Policy: The "I want in, but might want out" category offers a bailout option.

General Notes

• Training: Ensure you have the proper training and bike setup.
• Event Conduct: The promoter may remove any rider acting in an unsafe or undesirable manner.
• Weather Policy: This is a rain or shine event with no refunds for poor weather.

Support and Involvement

Friends, Family, Fans, and Supporters

• Support Role: Friends and family are welcomed to support riders.
• Road Safety: Do not block roads and drive safely around riders.
• After Party: Buy a meal ticket if you want to eat.

Volunteers

• Importance: We need many volunteers for the ride to happen.
• Incentives: Volunteers receive food, raffle entries, a cool shirt, and more.
• Free Ride: You could ride next year for free if you volunteer.

Charity

• Giving Back: One dollar of each entry is donated to the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League.
• Community Engagement: Donations will also support the Keystone Youth Mountain Bike Team.

Merchandise

• Availability: Different types of merchandise will be available for purchase in the months leading up to the event.

Lodging

• Camping: A large group camps at Frances Slocum State Park each year.

• Legacy: He was my number one volunteer and is missed dearly.

Cancellation Policies

General Policy

• No Refunds: We have a strict no refund policy due to early planning.
• Deferral: Deferrals are allowed 45 days prior to the event, valid for one year only.
• Credit Options: You may cancel and receive a 30% credit for future events if done 10 days prior.

Participant Insurance

• Recommendation: Purchase insurance during registration through BikeReg.
• Claim Process: Claims must be filed through BikeReg directly.
