Arizona Youth Triathlon - Swim, Bike, Run

Event Overview

Join us at the Arizona - Swim, Bike, Run Youth Triathlon.

The swim takes place at the Litchfield Park recreation center pool. The bike portion takes place along a community path and along Old Litchfield Rd and the run runs along Old Litchfield Rd and around the Tierra Verde Lake Park.

USAT Sanctioning

• Sanctioned Event: This is a USAT sanctioned event.
• Membership Requirement: All participants must be a USAT member or purchase a one day membership.
• Insurance Coverage: USA Triathlon provides insurance to the event, covering participants in case of an accident during the event.
• National Rankings: All-race results are reported to USAT and each participant gets national rankings.

• Cost: USAT membership costs $10.00 and is an annual membership.

Event Schedule

• Timing Chip Pickup: Please pick up timing chip 30 minutes before your event start.
• Helmet Policy: BIKE HELMETS ARE MANDATORY! NO HELMET = NO RACE.
• Color Arrows: WE HAVE COLORED ARROWS FOR EACH AGE GROUP: PARTICIPANTS ARE TO FOLLOW THEIR COLOR ARROW ALONG THE COURSE.
• Start Times:
  • 6:30 am Start 13-14 - COLOR GREEN
  • 7:00 am Start 11-12 - COLOR GREEN
  • 7:30 am Start 6 and Under - COLOR YELLOW
  • 8:00 am Start 7-8 - COLOR RED
  • 8:30 am Start 9-10 - COLOR RED

Event Divisions

6 and Under

• Swim: .25 yards
• Bike: .53 mile
• Run: .30 mile

7 - 8 and 9-10

• Swim: 100 yards
• Bike: 1.06 mile
• Run: .75 mile

11-12 and 13-14

• Swim: 150 yards
• Bike: 2.12 miles
• Run: 1.25 miles

Participant Swag

• Event T-shirt: Each registered participant will receive an event t-shirt.
• Finisher Medal: All participants will also get a finisher medal.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Check website for last day to guarantee event t-shirt.

Awards

We will have awards for each age group for boys and girls. Top 3 boys and top 3 girls.
