Race Overview
Join us for the First Annual Wilson Doughnut Run, a unique 5K event that brings our community together to honor the officers involved in the courthouse shooting while supporting a great cause.
Participants' Challenge Options
Participants can choose their own challenge:
- 5K Run: Run without doughnuts
- Doughnut Challenges: Eat doughnuts at the turnaround point
Doughnut Challenge Levels
- Mini Challenge: 12 doughnut holes
- Half Challenge: 6 doughnuts
- Full Challenge: 12 doughnuts
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wilson Police Department Athletic League (PAL) and its annual Shop with a Cop program, helping make a difference for local children and families.
Event Details
Whether you're running for fun, competing with friends, or supporting a meaningful cause, we'd love to have you join us. Come Run, Eat, and Repeat with us on September 19, 2026! The race begins at 8:00 a.m.
Finisher's Medal
Every participant who crosses the finish line will receive a commemorative finisher's medal to prove they survived the challenge!
