Race Against Human Trafficking (powered by Plant A Seed)

Saturday, January 23, 2027 — 8:00 AM MT
Downtown El Paso, TX
1 Mile Fun Run · 5K · Virtual 5K · Lollipop Kids Run

"It's Time to Step Into Action, Speak Out, and Make a Difference" — a community 5K/Walk raising awareness and funds against human trafficking. Every step supports Plant A Seed's work to fight exploitation.

Our Mission: Awareness. Education. Prevention.

The Race Against Human Trafficking is more than a race. It is an opportunity to bring our community together, learn, and move into action.
Education is at the heart of this event. Human trafficking does not always look the way it is portrayed in movies or television. Through the race, we connect participants with credible information, local organizations, and resources to better understand trafficking, recognize warning signs, know where to seek help, and continue these conversations beyond race day.
We also want to empower parents and caregivers to have age-appropriate conversations with young people about safety, healthy relationships, boundaries, online interactions, and asking for help.
Our goal is not to create fear. It is to create awareness, build knowledge, strengthen connections, and empower action.
Awareness starts the conversation. Education builds understanding. Prevention moves us into action.
Beneficiary: A portion of race proceeds will be donated to United Way of El Paso County, which will allocate the funds to organizations focused on anti-trafficking education and direct services for victims and survivors.
What Your Sponsorship & Participation Builds
Your sponsorship helps build and grow the race, expand its reach, and strengthen our focus on awareness, education, and prevention. A portion of race proceeds is also donated to organizations that educate and provide direct services to victims and survivors.

Your support helps move awareness into action.
