Southern Alamance Middle School Tigers 5k/Fun Run

Event Overview

This 5k/Fun run will bring students, families, staff and our community together for a fun-filled event that promotes school spirit, healthy activity and community involvement.

Purpose of the Event

• Fundraiser: This event fundraiser will raise money for the Southern Alamance Middle School Athletic Booster Club general fund.
• Support Sports: Funds will help with school sport needs or improvements such as equipment and uniforms, as well as end of season sports awards.
• Community Involvement: We would also like to give back to the community by holding a food drive to help fight food insecurity, partnering with The Source Of Alamance County.
• Food Donations: Families that bring a food donation during the run will be entered into a raffle that morning, to win a prize at the end of the event.

Participation Details

• Donations: Bring canned food, pantry food, a bag of groceries. Even if it is one item, it can help tremendously.
• Support Local: This will be a fun morning supporting Southern Middle School athletics, coaches and student athletes.
• Community Impact: Participants will also be giving back into the community.
