About this race
The WellStyles Move More 5k
Join WellStyles and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona for a walk/run event in the City of Glendale.
The event is open to all City of Glendale employees, family, friends, and community members.
Please do not bring pets to this event due to safety reasons. Service animals only.
Event Details
- Date: 2027-02-27
- Location: Foothills Recreation and Aquatic Center, Glendale, AZ
- Registration Cost: $10.00: children 12 and under are free.
- Price Increase: The cost will increase to $15.00 per person on 2/15/2027.
Shirt Information
The first 600 people will receive a shirt but only those who registered by January 27 will be guaranteed their chosen size.
Event Schedule
- 8:00 am: Registration
- 9:00 am: 5k run/walk starts
- 9:05 am: 1-mile walk starts
- 9:00 am – 11:30 am: Free Community Wellness Fair following the race
- 9:30 am - 12:30 pm: Free Rock Wall Climb inside the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center
What You Get!
- Awards: Awards for the top 3 male and female 5K finishers!
- Finisher Medal: For all 5K or 1-mile finishers
- Event T-shirt: Sign up by January 27 to be guaranteed a shirt to the first 600 registered participants.
- Refreshments: Pre and post-race refreshments, water stations on the course
- Race Bib: Chip timed results
Parking Information
- Free Parking: Available in the Foothills Recreation and Aquatic Center main lot.
- Overflow Parking: Available at adjacent City of Glendale facilities.
- Alternative Location: Foothills Park/Skate Park, 5752 W. Union Hills Drive
