Middlebury Summer Festival 5k and 1 mile

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the Middlebury Summer Festival 5k and 1 mile race will be taking place as part of Middlebury's Annual Summer Festival celebration. Proceeds from the race will support Northridge Middle and High School Cross Country programs.

⏰ Event Schedule

• Start Time: The event will feature two races designed for runners of all ages and experience levels.
• 1 Mile Race: Kicking off at 8:00 a.m. for kids and competitive runners 13 and older.
• 5K Race: Begins at 8:30 a.m.
• Prizes: Awarded to the top three men and women overall, and the top 3 winners in each age division.

📍 Location and Registration

• Start Point: Race will begin on State Street in Middlebury, by East Park.
• Check-in: Registration and check-in for both races start at 6:45 a.m. at East Park.
• Packet Pickup: Available on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at East Park.
• Parking: Please arrive early to secure good parking spots around town: a map of spots will be posted in the near future.

🏆 Awards and Records

• 5K Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall Male and Female.
• Record Bonus: $100 for breaking the course record in the 5K (Male: 14:27, Female: 19:37).
• 1 Mile Record Bonus: $50 for breaking the course record in competitive 1 mile (Male: 4:54, Female: 6:34).
• 1 Mile Awards: Top 5 boys and top 5 girls for the fun run, and top 5 male and female for the competitive mile.

👶 Special Notes

• No Refunds: All entries are non-refundable.
• Shirts: Unisex shirts will be provided, with unisex youth shirts for kids.
• Online Registration: Available through race morning until the race starts.
• Kids 5 and Under: Must be accompanied by an adult during the 1 mile run.
