The Geneseo Police Department along with the Dementia Task Force is hosting a 5K race at Richmond Hill in Geneseo.

- Location: 600 HK Robinson Dr, Geneseo, IL
- Course: 5K for runners, 2-mile for walkers
- Eligibility: Only 5K runners are eligible for top 3 finisher awards
Goals and Fundraising
Our goal is to raise money for the Dementia Task Force so they can continue to provide community outreach, caregiver support, and free radio-frequency Care Trak tracking bracelets. These bracelets allow caregivers and law enforcement the ability to locate someone suffering from dementia if they wander away undetected.
Registration Information
- Simplicity: The registration form is fairly simple.
- Cost Management: We are trying to keep the costs down on this race and direct as much of the funding as we can to the cause.
- Age Brackets: There won't be age brackets or awards for age brackets.
- Timing: The race will not be chip timed: awards will be given to the overall top 3 finishers.
