Sisters at Heart 21st Annual Breast Cancer "In Person / Virtual" Walk...PLUS+

WHAT IS THE VIRTUAL EVENT?

• Anytime, Anywhere: A Virtual Event can be ANYTHING YOU WANT IT TO BE—something physical done ANYWHERE or ANYTIME during the month of October.
• Choose Your Location: It can be done in your neighborhood, at your favorite local trail or park, at your office during quick lunch breaks, or wherever you feel safe and motivated to complete your event.
• Activities: Some examples of virtual participation include jogging, running, dancing, skating, biking, paddle boarding, yoga, Tai Chi, etc.
• Show Us Your Pink: During your Virtual and In-person walk, upload pictures to your social media and tag our Sisters at Heart Facebook page.

WHAT IS THE IN-PERSON WALK?

• Gathering for Awareness: This In-Person Walk features a gathering of friends and family walking together to bring awareness to breast cancer.
• Event Start: The walk will begin October 24th at the Pavilion on the Village Green.
• Registration Time: Registration starts at 8:30 am.
• Walk Details: Following a fitness warmup, the walk will begin on the Village Green, then proceed to the Waterfront Boardwalk, and will end back at the Village Green. This is a 2-5k walk.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

• Early Registration: Early registration starts September 1, 2026.
• Registration Fee: Registration fee is $40 / person whether you participate virtually or in person.
• No Excuses: There is NO EXCUSE not to participate with us Virtually or In Person.
• Supporting the Cause: Join to support the men and women in the Southern Maryland Tri-County area who are affected by breast cancer.

PARTICIPATION INCLUSIONS

• Commemorative T-Shirt: The 1st 75 registered individuals will receive a commemorative Sisters at Heart T-Shirt.
• Medal and Lanyard: Commemorative Sisters at Heart Medal and Lanyard.
• Printable Bib: Participants will receive a Printable Race/Walk Bib.
• Make a Difference: WALK TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
