Mighty Mile - FREE RACE FOR KIDS - Dansville

🏃‍♂️ Mighty Mile Overview

• Event: The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old.
• Included: All runners will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and a chipped timed accurate mile.
• Finisher Medal: Once the runner crosses the finish line they will receive a Mighty Mile Finisher Medal.
• Date and Location: May 20, 2025, at 1264 E South St, Dansville, MI.

• Calling all Kids: Finish up your school year with a challenging and fun mile and get your summer off to an active healthy start!
• COST: FREE! There is no entry fee to run the Mighty Mile.
• Online Registration: Register your child on this site prior to the race. There's no registration available at the race.
• Limited Spots: The race is limited to the first 200 participants. Register for the race early!

• Part of Series: The race is part of the Michigan Running Foundation Mighty Mile series.
• Encouragement: The series aims to encourage our children to run and stay active.
• Location: This race is located at Dansville High School.
• Event Date: Tuesday evening, May 20th.

⏰ Race Schedule

• Race 1: 6:30pm | 5 - 7 year olds
• Race 2: 6:50pm | 8 – 9 year olds
• Race 3: 7:10pm | 10 - 11 year olds
• Race 4: 7:25pm | 12 - 14 year olds

✅ Results and Awards

• Timing: This race will be electronically timed using the disposable tag system on the bib number.
• Availability: Results will be available immediately after the race on this web site.
• Awards: There are no awards: all runners receive a Mighty Mile medal upon finishing.
• Goal: The program encourages runners to challenge themselves and start a healthy lifestyle.

🏁 Course Details

• Course Design: The start and finish is on the Dansville Track.
• Running Route: First 1/4 mile is on the track, then a loop on school grounds finishing with a 1/4 mile on the track.
• Support: Members of the Dansville High School Cross Country team will offer encouragement along the course.
• Family Participation: Feel free to run with your child!

💵 Entry Fee and Regulations

• Fee: The race is FREE: registration must be done online prior to the race.
• Registration: There will be no registration available at the race.
• Packet Pickup: Race day at Dansville High School starting at 5:45 pm.
• Water: Bring water for your child: there is no water available at the race.
