Event Overview

Millersburg Food Run 10K, 5K & 1 mile

Ready, set, go! The Millersburg Food Run is scheduled for Sunday, July 26th at 8:00 am!

Purpose of the Event

• Benefit: The Millersburg Food Run is the Millersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church’s contribution to help meet the needs of some Holmes County families.
• Donation: The profit from the race will be donated to the Love Center Food Pantry.
• History: The Love Center Food Pantry has been servicing the needs of Holmes County since 1986.
• Community Impact: Nearly 1000 families utilize the food pantry, processing over 660,000 lbs of food a year.

Race Details

• Courses: There will be competitive, professionally timed, 5K and 10K courses and a non-competitive 1-mile course.
• Who Can Participate: Runners, joggers, walkers, all are welcome!
• Course Location: The race is on a flat, paved Rails-to-Trails path starting at Hipp Station Depot near historic downtown Millersburg, Ohio.
• Scenery: The race course runs through wooded areas and farm fields: wildlife sightings may include deer and even a bald eagle!

Participant Perks

• Inclusions: All participants will receive a medal, goodie bag, and a ticket for prize drawing of gifts/gift baskets.
• T-shirt Availability: The T-shirt deadline has passed, but extra t-shirts have been ordered: sign up to get your t-shirt size while supplies last!
• Gift Baskets: Drawing for gift baskets will occur after the race starts, allowing participants to check for winnings upon finishing.
• Refreshments: Beverages and snacks will be available for participants after the race.

Registration Fees

• Fees: 10K - $35, 5K - $25, adult 1-mile - $15, child 1-mile - $8.
• On-Site Registration: Available on the day of the event, but online registration is strongly encouraged.
• Day of Registration Fees: 10K - $40, 5K - $30, adult 1-mile - $15, child 1-mile - $8.

Awards and Categories

• Categories: Race categories by gender include 13 and under, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
• Prizes: Overall first place winners for each race and gender will receive a $20 Subway gift card.
• Age Category Prizes: First place in each race, gender and age category will receive a $5 Subway gift card.
• Awards Ceremony: There will be a live, in-person awards ceremony.

Parking Information

• Location: Parking is free at Hipp Station.
• Additional Options: There is additional street parking nearby.
