The Great Grape Race

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, September 19th 2026
• Start Time: Both the 5k and 10k race begins at 8:00 am
• Location: Winesburg Park - 7705 TR 671, Winesburg, OH 44690
• Packet Pickup: Begins the day of the race at 7 am

Race Overview

• Fundraiser: Join us again this year for the Great Grape Race, a fundraiser benefiting the Winesburg Reunion!
• Distances: We're excited to introduce a new 10K distance alongside our traditional 5K, giving runners even more ways to enjoy race day.
• Scenic Route: Experience the scenic, rolling hills of Amish Country on both courses.
• Terrain: Courses wind through beautiful farmland and pastureland along Township Road 671 and 670.

Post-Race Activities

• Finish Line Treats: Cookies from Timbercrest Bakery and water will be available for runners.
• Festival: The event concludes at Winesburg Park, where the Fall Festival will be taking place.
• Activities: Food trucks, softball games, and various festival activities throughout the day.
• Participant Gifts: All participants will receive a medal and a voucher for an ice cream cone from Whitmer's General Store.

Parking Information

• Parking Location: Parking will be in the field behind the playground at Winesburg park.
• Access: Participants will need to drive past the park entrance on TR 671.
• Enter Here: Enter the drive at 7771 TR 671 and park in the field past the house.
• Signs: There will be signs indicating where to park the day of the race.

Important Notes

• Shirt Deadline: The shirt deadline is 2 weeks prior to the event.
• Registration: Anyone registering after this date will not receive a t-shirt.
