Race Highlights

• Facilities: Inside holding areas and restroom facilities available.
• Accessibility: Wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs are welcome at our family-friendly event.
• Activities: Additional events include pumpkin cart racing and pumpkin decorating.
• Lil' Pumpkin Dash: A fun 100-yard dash for ages 7 and under!

Special Challenge

• Haunted Forest Marathon: Partnership with Run To You Racing for a spooky month.
• 9 Lives Challenge: Complete both the Great Pumpkin 4 Miler and any Haunted Forest distance.
• Medal: Earn a special medal for completing both races.

Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: Friday, October 30 at 4:00-6:30 PM
• Date & Time: Saturday, October 31 starting at 7:00 AM

Race Schedule

• 100 Yard Lil' Pumpkin Dash: Begins at 8:15 AM, finisher medals awarded.
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Starts at 9:00 AM, untimed event with medals.
• 4 Mile Run/Walk: Timed event, also beginning at 9:00 AM.

Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards for top 3 male and female finishers.
• Age Groups: Recognition for various age categories from 1-12 to 80+.
• Largest Team: Prizes for teams with the most registrants.

Participant Information

• Long-Sleeve Tee: Provided for all registrants.
• No Shirt Option: Discount available up to Race Day.
• Special Olympians: Encouraged to register at a special pricing.
• Caregiver Policy: Buddies or caregivers can accompany participants at no cost.

Cause/Donation

• Support for Athletes: Funds raised support Special Olympians in Stark County.
• Participation: More than 500 individuals with developmental disabilities involved.
• Program Offerings: Includes basketball, flag football, power lifting, and more.
• 501(c)(3) Status: Special Olympics Ohio - Stark DD ensures funds stay local.
