- Location: Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 2950 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708
- Accessibility: Wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs are welcome
- Activities: Pumpkin cart racing, pumpkin decorating, and more
Race Information
- Type: In-Person Race only: no virtual option available
- Packet Pickup: October 30, 2026, from 4:00-6:30 PM & October 31, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM
- 100 Yard Lil' Pumpkin Dash: Ages 7 & Under begins at 8:15 AM: untimed event
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Begins at 9:00 AM: untimed and not part of Challenge Series
Challenge Participation
- Haunted Forest Marathon: Participate in both the Great Pumpkin 4 Miler and Haunted Forest distances
- Special Medal: Receive a 9 LIVES CHALLENGE MEDAL for completing both events
- 4 Mile Run/Walk: Also begins at 9:00 AM: this is a timed event
- Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers, by age group, plus largest team category
Shirts and Special Prizes
- Tee for Registrants: Long-sleeve tee for all participants
- No Shirt Option: Discount available for $8 until Race Day
- Shirt only Option: Available for supporters until 10/3/25
- Special Olympians: Discounted registration for athletes with developmental disabilities
Race Cause
- Support Local Athletes: Funds raised support Special Olympic athletes in Stark County
- Programs Funded: Includes basketball, flag football, swimming, and more
- 501c3 Organization: Proceeds benefit local athletes directly
- Donations: Available through the registration process
