MMT1 Foundation 5K Run

🎉 Join Us for the Race!

Please join us on November 9th for the 2nd Annual Michael Moore Type1 (MMT1) Diabetes Foundation. This 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be held in downtown Fort Gibson and will be run on a new USATF Certified Course that starts at downtown Fort Gibson Park at Maple and Railroad (scroll down for the map).

This event coincides with Veterans Day, so please wear red, white, and blue in support of our Veterans.

• Race Timing: I:40 Race Service
• Awards: Medals will be awarded to top 3 in each 5k age group.
• Refreshments: Provided after the run.

🩺 About Type1 Diabetes and the MMT1 Foundation

Type1 diabetes is a chronic (life-long) autoimmune disease that prevents your pancreas from making insulin. It requires daily management with insulin injections and blood sugar monitoring. Both children and adults can be diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

💖 MMT1's Purpose

• Research: Raising funds for research for a cure for Type1 diabetes.
• Education: Providing educational resources for both Type1 and Type2 diabetes.
• Assistance: Providing financial assistance to those Type1's that need it.

📝 Registration Details

• Deadline: Sign up by October 18th to get a guaranteed t-shirt.
• 5k Early Bird Registration: $35 before September 15th.
• 5k Registration: $40 from September 15th to Race Day.
• Fun Run Early Bird Registration: $25 before September 15th.
• Fun Run Registration: $35 from September 15th to Race Day.
