GTR Fort Gibson Challenge

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Location: Clinkenbeard Park in Fort Gibson, OK. You will need to google the location because it does not have an address.
• Date: Saturday August 16, 2025.
• Challenge Start Time: 10am.
• Activities: There will be a 1 mile run, a 2ish mile kayak, and a 1 mile run. There will be finisher medals for the kayak challenge.

🛶 Kayak Information

• Kayak Requirement: You will need to bring your own kayak.
• No Late Starts: Please arrive on time.
• Safety First: Life jackets must be worn properly on the water. Do not put your kayak in the water until your life jacket is properly secured.
• Disqualification: You will be immediately disqualified if you are on the water without a properly secured life jacket.

👥 Team Information

• Teams: We brought back teams for 2025. They can be male/male, female/female, or male/female.
• Participation: Both teammates run together, kayak together, and run together.
• Kayak Requirement: Teammates will also need their own kayaks.
• Shirt Cutoff: SHIRT CUTOFF IS JULY 1!!!

📅 Packet Pickup

• Start Time: Packet pickup will start at 9 on race day.
