Purpose of the Event

This 5K hosted on Sunday, September 20, is organized to promote mental health and create awareness for suicide prevention month. Proceeds will benefit the HOPE Fund at the Pastoral Institute, a renowned counseling center in our community, serving Columbus, GA for more than 50 years.

What is H.O.P.E.?

This is the Pastoral Institute's budget to support people who are in a tight financial situation that doesn’t allow them to prioritize their mental health and put wellness needs first. H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Other People Endure.
