- Campaign: This race supports WIT’s signature WITKITS Campaign.
- Current Need: The pandemic has increased the number of girls unable to afford period products.
- Distribution: WIT has provided over 50,000 WITKITS since July 2019.

- Dates: Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
- Location: Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
- Race Day Pickup: Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM at Blount Cultural Park.
- Participants: Packet pickup will be managed by WIT 5K Chairwomen Command Chief Mataya Williams and Mrs. Taaka Wilson.
Awards
- 5K Participants: Each receives a participant medal.
- In-Person Winners: Unique trophies for overall male and female winners: special medals for age group winners.
- Overall Winners: Categories for men, women, and age groups up to 70+.
- Age Group Categories: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
