Moonlight on the Falls - Marathon, Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, Ultra, & Relay

🌙 Race Information

Join us on August 24-25, 2024, for the 4th Annual Moonlight on the Falls Marathon at Blackwater Falls State Park in Tucker County, West Virginia.

• Features: Marathon, Half Marathon, Distance Challenge (Ultra), Relay, and Quarter Marathon
• Course: Approximately 6.55-mile looped course starting and ending at Pendleton Point
• Night Race: Begins at 10 pm with cool mountain night temperatures around 55 degrees
• Atmosphere: Festival-like Packet Pick Up, live music, vendors, and food

🏃‍♂️ Race Requirements

• Reflective Gear: All participants must wear a reflective vest and a headlamp
• Fun Lighting: Glow sticks and creative lighting for outfits encouraged
• Swag: Participants receive a super soft Triblend McClumsy long-sleeve T-shirt and finisher medal
• Course Type: Paved looped course for all distances except the Quarter Marathon

🏅 Relay Details

• Registration: Team members register individually with a shared password
• Scoring: Based on total laps run per team instead of using anklets
• Timing: Each lap has varying point values, with a sunrise celebration for participants
• Prizes: Chance to win 2 nights of lodging and free entry for the 2025 race
