- Event: Join us Thanksgiving morning at the Annual Run, Turkey, Run! 5K & 1 Mile.
- Activities: Enjoy music, snacks, and games after the run.
Family-Friendly Fun
- Perfect for Families: Bring the whole family out for this fun, family-friendly event! (No pets please.)
- Community Giving: We have partnered with a local food and clothing bank to collect items for donation.
- New Items Only: All donations must be new: no used items, please.
- Beneficiary: Items will be donated to Children's Cancer Network.
Donation Items Needed
- Baby Food: Any brand is appreciated.
- Canned Food: Non-perishable items are welcome.
- Diapers: All sizes are needed.
- Hygiene Products: Toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc.
Participation Requirement
- Item Donation: Agree to bring one item from the above list on race day or at packet pickup.
5K Racer Amenities
- Finisher Medal: Awarded to all 5K finishers.
- Race Shirts: Guaranteed for all pre-registered participants (T-shirt guarantee if registered before 11/21).
- Post-Race Refreshments: Enjoy refreshments after the race.
1 Mile Racer Amenities
- Finisher Medals: Available for all 1 Mile finishers.
- Post-Race Refreshments: Available for participants after the race.
Schedule
- Packet Pickup: Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, November 24, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Location TBD.
- Race Day Packet Pickup: Opens at 7:00 a.m.
- 5K Run Start: 8:30 a.m.
- 1 Mile Run/Walk Start: 8:40 a.m.
Race Timing
- Chip Timing: This race will utilize chip timing technology for accurate results.
- Race Number: Should be worn on the front of your shirt and over your belly button.
- Live Results: Will be available at the results kiosk on a big screen TV.
Parking Information
- Parking Lot: Please use the parking lot along Harrison St.
Awards
- 5K Awards: Top 3 male and female overall, Top 3 youth male and youth female (17 and under).
- 1 Mile Awards: Top 3 male and female overall.
