1st Ostomy 'Run for Resilience' 5k [Portland, OR]

Get ready, Portland! Join us for the 1st Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K on Saturday, October 3rd as we come together to celebrate Ostomy Awareness Day with purpose, pride, and a whole lot of heart.

This family-friendly event is more than just a run, it’s a celebration of strength, community, and resilience. Enjoy a vibrant morning filled with local vendors, great food, music, and plenty of fun for all ages. Bring your friend and family and meet us at the beautiful Laurelhurst Park for a day you won’t want to miss.

All proceeds support United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to education, advocacy, and empowering the ostomy community nationwide. Donations are tax deductible. Learn more at www.ostomy.org

Race Day Schedule

• 10am: Silent Auction Opens
• 10:30am: Speeches from Healthcare Professionals
• 11am: Race Begins & Silent Auction Closes

Group Participation

Once you’ve registered you have the option to CREATE a new RACE GROUP/TEAM or to JOIN one that’s already been established. This is a great way to get others in your community to Register to Participate in the Run and compete against each other. Invite family, friends, co-workers to Register, pick to be on your Race Group/Team (or start their own), order their T-Shirt & Bib and celebrate the day with you! (Please note this is NOT a Team Fundraiser. To set up a Personal or Team Fundraiser, please go to the DONATE button.)

Fundraising Details

• Fundraising Incentive: Raise $150 or more and your Registration Fee will be refunded!
• Purpose: Funds raised help UOAA continue to provide resources, educational materials, advocacy and support to the ostomy and continent diversion community.
• Setup: You can create a unique Fundraiser Name and URL address, personalize your fundraising message, and direct your friends and family to your page to join your team or sponsor you in your fundraising goal.

Fundraising Incentives

Your commitment to fundraise and support the ostomy and continent diversion community is no small endeavor, and we appreciate your dedication and hard work.

• Empower Level: $250+ in fundraising individually or as a Team Captain.
• Champion Level: $450+ in fundraising individually or as a Team Captain.
• Award: TBA for Empower Level and TDA for Champion Level.

Run Referral Program

Invite 5 other people to register and participate in the Run with you and you will be refunded $20 on YOUR registration! Simply share your unique referral link found on your registration confirmation page (email) "Remember to invite your friends with your special URL https:// ...". The referral program is valid for all in-person run locations and the virtual event so even if they cannot join you where you are, they can still celebrate from afar!

Event Insurance

Event Registration Protection is now available for participants!
