• Bridge Status: The Spiketon Foothills connection bridge is scheduled to be complete in September.
• Contingency: There is a possibility that it may not be finished.
• Marathon Distance: We are NOT holding the Dam Marathon distance in 2025.

• Available Races: The Fall Event offers a half marathon &: 5K.
• No Excuses: There’s no excuse not to do the dam thing!

🌄 Half Marathon Course

• Starting Point: The Half Marathon course starts in the scenic town of South Prairie (elevation 467′).
• Course Features: Gradually taking you downhill on the Foothill Rail Trail.
• Scenic Views: You’ll pass through farmlands and forest, snaking along the Carbon River.
• Finish Line: Finishing in front of the Historic McMillin Bridge (elevation 128′).
• Pavement: The surface of the course is fully paved.
• Elevation Drop: The Half Marathon has a net elevation loss of 339 feet.

🔄 5K Course

• Course Type: The 5K course will be an out-and-back on the Foothills Trail.
• Starting/Ending Point: The 5K will start and finish in front of the McMillin Foothill’s Trail Bridge.
