The Mud Mountain Dam Half Marathon & 5K will take place on September 20, 2025 at South Prairie Veterans Park, Buckley, WA.

🚧 Marathon Update

MARATHON UPDATE: The Spiketon Foothills connection bridge is scheduled to be complete in September, with the unknown that it could potentially not be finished we are NOT holding the Dam Marathon distance in 2025.

🏞️ Half Marathon Details

• Course Start: The Half Marathon course starts in the scenic town of South Prairie (elevation 467′).
• Course Description: Gradually takes you downhill on the Foothill Rail Trail, passing through farmlands and forest along the Carbon River.
• Finish Line: The race finishes in front of the Historic McMillin Bridge (elevation 128′).
• Elevation Loss: The Half Marathon has a net elevation loss of 339 feet, with a fully paved course.

🏁 5K Details

• Course Type: The 5K course will be an out-and-back on the Foothills Trail.
• Start/Finish: The 5K will start and finish in front of the McMillin Foothills Trail Bridge.
• Course Scenery: Enjoy a beautiful view along the out-and-back loop.
• Accessibility: The 5K is designed for all levels of runners.
