Get ready for a 5K Zombie Run &: 1-Mile Fun Run, sponsored by the Van Buren Public School Education Foundation!

• Date: Saturday, October 10th
• Location: 50901 S. Interstate 94 Service Drive, Van Buren Township, 48111
• 5K Start Time: 4:00 pm
• Fun Run Start Time: 3:15 pm

Course Description

We’ll be running for our lives through Van Buren Park and along the Iron Belle Trail, where ghosts, goblins, and zombies will be roaming about for a spooktacular and scary-fun time! Not quite ready to outrun the zombies? Our 1-Mile Fun Run will be a little more kid-friendly and perfect for the whole family!

Parking Information

• Location: Lakewood Shopping Center (the Old K-mart)
• Access: Walk on over to the park using the sidewalk / Iron Belle Trail

Registration Costs

• 5K: $30 before September 30 at midnight.
• 5K: $35 from October 1st to race day. Registration includes a race shirt.
• 1 Mile Fun Run: $15. Registration includes a race medal.
• Virtual Run: Same pricing timeline.

Awards

• Overall Fastest: Male &: Female
• Age Categories: 14 under, 15-19, Overall Masters, and various age groups.
• Fastest Teacher / Staff:
• Special Awards: Most Creative Zombie, Most Frightening Crew.

Additional Information

Water stations will be available throughout, and snacks will be provided at the finish line.

We will have an early race packet pickup on Tuesday, October 6th from 3:30-6:30 at the VBPS Admin Building, 555 W Columbia Ave, Belleville, MI 48111.
