Battle Creek Patriot Run

Event Overview

The Battle Creek Air National Guard Base is excited to announce its 5th annual Battle Creek Patriot Run! The event will be held on Sunday, October 11th and is open to the public. Events will include:

• 5k Run/Walk: Open to all participants.
• 10k Run: Compete with fellow runners.
• Handcycle/Wheelchair Category: New in 2026 for inclusivity.
• Family Friendly: All abilities welcome and discounted pricing for families and groups.

Location Details

There is a BIG change this year: our race has moved to the Fort Custer Training Center (not the National Park). Please note the following:

• Main Gate: Use the main gate on Denso Road.
• Search Policy: Expect vehicle searches as it is a military installation.
• Map and Address: Available on the race website.
• Course Map and Parking: Check below for full details.

Registration Information

Pricing for the race is structured as follows:

• 5k Run/Walk and Handcycle/Wheelchair: $30 until 8/31, $35 after, $40 on race day.
• 10k Run: $40 until 08/31, $45 after, $50 on race day.
• Family Discount: $5 off per person for groups of 3 or more.

Participant Perks

All participants will receive various swag items:

• T-Shirt: Guaranteed for registrations through 9/27.
• Finisher's Medal: All participants will receive a medal.
• No T-Shirt Guarantee: After 9/27, shirts are not guaranteed.

Race Schedule

Both races will begin at 8:00 am.

Proceeds go to the 110th Wing Family Readiness Office to support struggling military families during the holiday season.
