Event Details

• Date: October 10, 2026
• Location: Comstock Community Center, 6330 King Hwy, Kalamazoo, MI 49048

• Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:30 AM on race morning.

Participation Perks

• Breakfast: Every registered participant will receive a free pancake and sausage breakfast on site after the race. Additional breakfasts may be purchased for a minimum $5 donation.
• Timing: In-person runners will start with a waterfall start. Chip timing will be utilized for accurate tracking of individual times.
• Finisher Medals: Custom finisher medals for all participants and colors for top two finishers in each age group. Trophies will be awarded to overall male and female winners.
• Historical Celebration: This year's medals will commemorate the 250-year anniversary of the United States.

Event Features

• Course: The run/walk course will be an out-and-back course on the KRV Trail.
• Breakfast: Pancake and sausage breakfast included for all participants.
• Kiwanis Raffle: Raffle tickets available for purchase with exciting prizes.
• Prizes: First Prize - $1,000, Second Prize - $500, Third Prize - $100.

Registration Information

• Pre-Registration: Early registration closes on October 12th at 11:59 PM.
• Registration Fee: Early Runner Registration - $40.00.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Deadline for guaranteed tee shirt is September 26th.

Age Categories and Awards

• Awards: Custom trophy for overall winners.
• Finisher Medals: All participants receive custom finisher medals.
• Age Groups: Male & Female categories: 12 and Under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and Over.

Timing will be conducted by Southwest Michigan Timing. Results will be posted at the event and online at Southwest Michigan Timing.
