Participant Benefits

• Free Breakfast: Every registered participant will receive a free pancake and sausage breakfast on site after the race.
• Donation Breakfast: Additional breakfasts may be purchased for a minimum $5 donation.
• Finisher Medals: Custom finisher medals for all participants, with custom colors for top 2 finishers in each age group.
• Trophies: Trophies will be awarded to the overall winners for men and women.

Race Format

• Waterfall Start: The run will be done as a waterfall start, and chip timing will track individual times.
• Clock Display: The clock will serve as a guide for spectators, while official times will be based on chips.
• Course: The run/walk course will be an out-and-back on the KRV Trail.
• Anniversary Medals: This year’s medals will celebrate the 250 year anniversary of the United States.

Kalamazoo Sunrise Kiwanis Raffle

• Ticket Price: Raffle tickets are $20.00 each.
• Prizes: First Prize - $1,000, Second Prize - $500, and Third Prize - $100 for three drawings.
• Additional Prizes: 10 drawings for $20.00 prizes.
• Draw Date: Drawing date is 10/10/2026, you do not need to be present to win.

Registration Fees and Deadlines

• Early Registration: $40.00 until October 12th, 11:59 PM.
• Guaranteed Tee Shirt: Deadline is September 26th.
• Note: Registration fees support local community programs.

Age Categories and Awards

• Overall Winners: Custom trophy for male and female overall winners.
• Finisher Medals: Medals will have custom colors for top 2 finishers in each age group.
• Age Groups: Categories include 12 and Under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and Over.

Timing will be conducted by Southwest Michigan Timing. Results will be posted at the event and online at southwestmichigantiming.com.
