Paw Paw Rotary 5K Santa Run

Event Overview

The Paw Paw Area Rotary Club is hosting its 14th Annual 5K Santa Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Freshwater Community Church. Proceeds from the Run will be used to further the Rotary Club’s efforts both locally & worldwide.

Participant Benefits

• Santa Suits: Each participant receives a 5-piece Santa suit that is worn during the Run/Walk (kids under 12 receive a Santa hat).
• Charitable Contribution: A $100 donation will be made to Rotary International's WASH program on behalf of the men's and the women's 1st place runners. Rotary's WASH initiative works to bring clean water, sanitation and hygiene programs worldwide to communities in need.
• Community Fun: The Santa Run is a popular community event enjoyed by participants and spectators alike, with pre-run party featuring live music, treats, and a face painter.
• Race Time: The race kicks off at 9 am, helping to fill the town with Christmas cheer as hundreds of Santas run through downtown Paw Paw!

Schedule

• Registration: Onsite registration and event sign-in from 7:30—8:30 a.m.
• 5K Run & Walk: Starts at 9:00 a.m.
• Fun Walk: Begins at 9:05 a.m.

Cost

• Early Registration: $25 for early online registration until Wednesday, December 10th, 2025.
• Onsite Registration: $30 on the day of the event after December 10th, 2025 (online registration will be closed).
• Free for Kids: Under 12—FREE.
• Community Focus: Everyone’s a winner! The purpose of this event is to provide a fun and family-friendly community run. Each Santa will receive a medal for completing the Santa Run.

Event and Onsite Registration

Early arrival is encouraged! Event and onsite registration will be at Freshwater Community Church. Pick up your Santa suit and enjoy live holiday music. Face painting will be provided, and a healthy snack will be available after the race.

Bad Weather Policy

The run will be canceled by 7:30 a.m. on race day if the weather is too severe. There will be no refunds.

Other Important Information

• Course Restrictions: Dogs are not allowed on the course.
• Participant Guidelines: All walkers and participants with strollers will be required to wait until all runners have crossed the start line.
