WMU Turkey Trot

About This Event

The WMU Turkey Trot continues its annual tradition this year! You can run your race with everyone else at WMU or anywhere (your neighborhood, local park, trail, or even a treadmill).

Live Event

• Registration Options:
  • Just the Race (no shirt) - $25
  • All the Swag (Dri-Fit Race Shirt) - $40
  • Options will be completed during the registration process.
• Item Shipping: Runners can have their items shipped to them (participants will pay the shipping fee) or pick up your shirt at our Packet Pick-Up.
• Event Time: The in-person race begins Saturday, Nov. 21, at 8:30 a.m.

Packet Pickup Times

• Packet Pickup: Participants that choose the packet pick-up option will be able to pick up their items on Friday, Nov. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Change Notice: Dates and times are subject to change.
• Pickup Location: The packet pick-up will be in the WMU Student Recreation Center - Indoor Tennis Courts.

Online Registration

• Regular Registration: Deadline Nov. 19, 11:59 p.m. EST ($25.00 Race Fee)
• Late Registration: Nov. 20 and Nov. 21 ($30.00 Race Fee)
• Shirt Size Guarantee: Register by Nov. 1 to guarantee your shirt size!
• Post-Nov. 1 Registration: Any registrations submitted after Nov. 1st will not be guaranteed their shirt size.

Mail-In Registration

• Registration Method: No mail-in registrations - Online registrations only for 2025.

In-Person Registration

• Deadline: In-Person Registrations will be accepted up until Nov. 21 at 8:15 a.m.

Virtual Event

• Running Options: You can run your race with everyone else at WMU or anywhere (your neighborhood, local park, trail, or even a treadmill). Once you have completed the virtual race, post your times at this link.
• Registration Options:
  • Just the Race (No Shirt) - $25
  • All the Swag (Dri-Fit Race Shirt) - $40 an additional charge will be added.
  • Options will be completed during the registration process.
• Item Shipping: Runners can have their items shipped to them (participants will pay the shipping fee) or pick up your race add-ons at our Packet Pick-Up.
• Virtual Race Time: The virtual race begins Saturday, Nov. 21, at 8:30 a.m.

  • Eligibility: Only participants in the in-person race are eligible for Awards.
