The Tyrone Race Series presents The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint!

The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint Event that will take place on June 14th, 2025!

🔥 History of Neptune Fire Company

In 1871, as the region of Tyrone started to settle, 31 residents saw a need for fire protection and started assisting the community as Neptune Steam Volunteer. Today, Neptune Fire Company has served our community as a volunteer fire company for over 150 years and is stationed at 1701 Lincoln Avenue in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.

• Current Members: 25 members
• Annual Calls: More than 375 calls per year
• Cost of Gear: Each firefighter is safely equipped with gear costing over $8,000
• Purpose of Donations: Assist operational funds and equipment upgrades

The start and finish line will be in front of Neptune Fire Co Number 1.

⏰ Timeline of Events

• 6:30 AM: Check in and day of registration will take place at Neptune Fire Co Number 1
• 8:00 AM: 5K, Firefighter 5K and First Responder 5K starts
• 9:30 AM: Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash)
• Following Race: Awards and Closing Ceremony

• 50/50 and Basket Raffle
• Food Trucks
• Sunset Slush
• Parlor Doughnuts

📝 Registration Information

Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by May 31st to be guaranteed short sleeve shirt.

Day of Race Registration: Race registration for the day of is only available from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM

Additional Shirts: Can be ordered on RunSignUp Store and picked up race day on June 14, 2025 at Neptune Fire Co Number 1 located at 1701 Lincoln Ave, Tyrone, PA 16686.

Neptune Fire Company 5K Adults (18+):

• Early Registration: $30
• Day of Registration: $35

Neptune Fire Company 5K - Firefighter in Full PPE Gear Division:

• Early Registration: $20
• Day of Registration: $25

Neptune Fire Company 5K - First Responder Division:

• Early Registration: $20
• Day of Registration: $25

Neptune Fire Company 5K High School Students (18 years & younger):

• Early Registration: $20
• Day of Registration: $25

Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint Children 9 & Under:

• Early Registration with short sleeve shirt: $15
• Early Registration with no shirt: FREE
• Day of Registration: Free (No shirt)

Registration includes a short sleeve shirt and race goodie bag: Youth S-L & Adult S - 4XL

Paper Registrations can be mailed or dropped off at the Neptune Fire Co Number 1 - 1701 Lincoln Ave, Tyrone, PA 16686 or mailed to Tyrone Race Series at PO Box 95 Tyrone, PA 16686.

Checks made payable to Tyrone Race Series.

⚠️ Cancellation & Weather Policy

Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation of Neptune Fire Co Race, all proceeds will be given to Neptune's Fire Company.

Inclement Weather: We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Tyrone Race Series committee. Any updates will be posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
