About Neptune Fire Company
- History: In 1871, as the region of Tyrone started to settle, 31 residents saw a need for fire protection and started assisting the community as Neptune Steam Volunteer.
- Service: Today, Neptune Fire Company has served our community as a volunteer fire company for over 150 years.
- Location: Stationed at 1701 Lincoln Avenue, Tyrone, Pennsylvania.
- Community Impact: In 2024, Neptune Fire Company has 25 members assisting in over 375 calls per year.

- Start/Finish Line: The start and finish line will be in front of Neptune Fire Co Number 1.
- Address: 1701 Lincoln Ave, Tyrone, PA 16686.
Timeline of Events
- 6:30 AM: Check in and day of registration at Neptune Fire Co Number 1.
- 8:00 AM: 5K, Firefighter 5K and First Responder 5K starts.
- Following Race: Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash).
- Following Race: Awards and Closing Ceremony.
Activities and Vendors
- Fun Activities: 50/50 and Basket Raffle.
- Food Trucks: Local food trucks will be present, including:
- Sunset Slush Happy Valley
- Parlor Doughnuts
- The Wandering Bean Coffee Co.
Registration Information
- Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by JUNE 3RD to be guaranteed a short sleeve shirt.
- Day of Race Registration: Only available from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM on race day.
- Additional Shirts: Can be ordered on RunSignUp Store and picked up on race day on June 20TH, 2026.
- Paper Registrations: Can be requested by emailing runtrs1857@gmail.com.

Firefighter in Full PPE Gear Division:
- Early Registration: $20

First Responder Division:

High School Students (18 years & younger):
- Early Registration: $20
- Day of Registration: $25
Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint (Children 9 & Under):
- Early Registration with short sleeve shirt: $15
- Early Registration with no shirt: FREE
- Day of Registration: Free (No shirt).
Additional Information
- Shirt Inclusion: Registration includes a short sleeve shirt: Youth S-L & Adult S - 4XL.
- Payment: Checks made payable to Tyrone Race Series.
- Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation, all proceeds will be given to Neptune's Fire Company.
- Inclement Weather: The race will be postponed in the event of inclement weather, with updates posted on the race website and Facebook event.
