Rockin’ Around Christmas 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run

Event Description
- Location: Join us near the Boyle County Courthouse for a festive, family-friendly morning of running, walking, holiday music, and Christmas cheer.
- Post-Race Celebration: After the race, keep the celebration going at Constitution Square.
Event Options
- 5K Race: Chip-timed race starts at 8:00 AM.
- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: Begins at 8:10 AM.
- Participants: Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome.
Participant Swag
- Incentives: All participants receive a cozy Rockin’ Around Christmas fleece blanket.
- Extras: Participants will also get a Rockin’ Santa hat and a commemorative Christmas ornament finisher medal.
- Treats: Enjoy coffee, cotton candy, popcorn, and the celebration at Constitution Square.
Race Awards
- Awards Criteria: Awards will be presented to the top three male and female overall finishers.
- Age Group Winners: Winners will also be recognized based on net chip time.
- Attendance: Winners must be present to receive their awards.
- Age Groups: 0–9 | 10–19 | 20–29 | 30–39 | 40–49 | 50–59 | 60–69 | 70+
Packet Pickup
- Date: Friday, December 11 · 5:00–7:00 PM at Danville Bike and Footwear, 417 W. Main Street, Danville, KY 40422.
- Race Day Pickup: Saturday, December 12 · 7:00–7:45 AM in Downtown Danville, near the Boyle County Courthouse.
Race Day Schedule
- 7:00 AM: Race morning packet pickup opens.
- 7:45 AM: Packet pickup closes.
- 8:00 AM: 5K starts.
- 8:10 AM: 1-mile fun run/walk starts.
- Post-Race: Awards and Christmas celebration at Constitution Square.
