CDH Family Reunion: Superhero Fun Run & Memorial Walk

Community Spirit: At The CDH Foundation, we believe everyone touched by CDH has a superpower worth celebrating.
Family Connection: Whether you are a CDH survivor, an angel, a sibling, parent, grandparent, family member, or friend—you are part of this heroic community!
Supportive Environment: The CDH journey can often feel isolating, which is why spending time with families who truly understand can be so life-giving.
Event Details: Join us for an afternoon of superhero-sized family fun, including a fun run for the kids, talking, games, and a cookout!

Ceremony Time: At 6:30 p.m., we will transition into our Memorial Walk and luminary lighting ceremony.
Moment of Silence: Together, we will pause for a moment of silence for the beautiful CDH warriors whose lives ended too soon.
Honor Remotely: Unable to attend in person? You can still purchase a luminary in honor or memory of someone you love.
Live Participation: We will also livestream the lighting ceremony so families near and far can participate.

Reduced Fees: We have reduced the registration fee for this year's event.
Fee Details: The $20 registration fee does not include an event t-shirt, but you may choose to add one during registration for an additional cost.
Super Hero Sprint: There will be a Super Hero Sprint available for all children to participate in.
Commemorative Swag: Families can attend at a more affordable price while choosing to purchase commemorative items only if they wish.

Purchase Instructions: If you would like to purchase a luminary for a loved one, please complete the form below.
Event Availability: Your luminary will be created and available the day of the event whether you are able to attend in person or not.
Multiple Luminaries: If you would like to purchase more than one luminary, then a form must be completed for each one.

Largest Team: Earn recognition for having the largest team.
Best Team Name: The best team name will be voted on through social media!
Most Money Raised: Celebrate the efforts of the team that raises the most funds.

Meeting Place: Join us at the track behind West Jessamine Middle School at 4pm for grilling and connection.
Activity Duration: The Warrior Walk will take place from 4-6:30pm, and you can walk as much as you like.
Inclusive Event: This walk is for ALL families of survivors and angels.
Lighting Ceremony: Luminaries will be lit at 6:30pm to be ready for sunset.

Start Time: At 5:30pm children who wish to participate will line up on track for a Super Hero Sprint!
Photographer: A photographer will be present to capture their best Super Hero pose.
Fun for All: The sprint is fun so everyone is a winner and will be recognized!

Availability: Packets will be available for pick-up on the day of the race starting at 4pm.

Virtual Participation: Participants can register, create a team, and set personal goals.
Flexibility: Run/walk an amount that is significant to you and your child’s journey.
Personal Goals: Choose a distance or duration meaningful to your experience.

Support Appreciated: Donations are very much appreciated and will go directly to our programming.
Purpose: Funds help parents navigate life after CDH.
Financial Grants: Includes families seeking financial grants for re-hospitalization, hospital transfer, and extended NICU stays.
In Memory of Warriors: Funds also support families in memory of their loved ones.
