Race Day Schedule

• 7:00 A.M.: Packet pickup opens (Gym)
• 9:00 A.M.: 5K start
• 9:10 A.M.: 1-Mile Fun Run start
• 10:00 A.M.: Awards ceremony

Location

• Shoals Christian School: 301 Heathrow Dr., Florence, AL 35633
• Parking: Free on-site parking at the school.
• Packet pickup: Race morning starting at 7:00 A.M. in the Shoals Christian Gym. Most runners arrive between 7:00 and 8:30 A.M.

Registration

• Early Registration: Through December 14
• 5K: $35
• 1-Mile: $25
• Note: Long-sleeve race shirt included

• Late Registration: December 15 through race day
• 5K: $40
• 1-Mile: $30
• Note: Shirt available while supplies last

Race-day registration is open until start time.

Awards

• Trophies: 1st Overall Male and Female
• Masters Trophies: 1st Overall Masters Male and Female (40+)
• Age Group Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each 10-year age group:
• Groups: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

• A fast route through the Heathrow neighborhood.
• Both the 5K and 1-mile follow USATF-certified courses, professionally timed by Race Ready Events.
• Course maps available before the race.

• Gym: Opens at 7:00 A.M.
• Warm-up area: Indoor warm-up area
• Refreshments: Coffee truck
• Restrooms: Available at the venue

All proceeds support Shoals Christian School Athletics, benefiting runners and families across Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, and the greater Shoals area.

• What time should I arrive? Most runners arrive between 7:00 and 8:30 A.M. to allow time for packet pickup and warm-up.
• Can I register on race day? Yes. Race-day registration is open until start time, while shirts last.
• Are strollers allowed? Yes, but please start toward the back for safety.
• Are pets allowed? For safety and USATF compliance, pets are not allowed on the course.

• Is the race timed? Yes, professionally timed by Race Ready Events.
• Are both races certified? Yes, the 5K and the 1-mile courses are USATF-certified.
• Where do I park? Parking is available on-site at Shoals Christian School.
• Do I have to be an experienced runner? No. All ages and paces are welcome, including walkers for the 1-mile.
