Northland Mother's Day 5K

Event Overview

Equal Start invites you to participate in the 11th Annual Northland Mother's Day 5K. The event will raise money to purchase school supplies for eligible children.

Course Details

• Designed by Runners: Designed specifically for runners to enjoy.
• Course Certification: Certified 5K course at the beautiful English Landing Park in Parkville, MO.
• Elevation Gain: Fast course with under 20 ft elevation gain.
• Visibility: The race can be observed from several locations.

Race Day Information

• Date and Time: Saturday, May 9, 2026, 9:00 A.M. START.
• Packet Pickup: Thursday, May 7th, from 4 pm-6:30 pm at The Running Well Store, 6106 NW Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64154. Race day packet pickup at the race site starting at 8 am.
• Registration Fees: Adult Registration $35.00: Students 18 & Under $20.00.
• Registration Deadline: Be sure to register by April 12th to guarantee your shirt! If you miss the deadline, shirts will be available for $10 the day of the race while supplies last.

Activities and Amenities

• Finisher Medals: All participants will receive finisher medals.
• Kids Dash: Join us for a Kids Dash Run with Prizes.
• Food and Fun: Enjoy food, family fun, and more!
• Shirts: Race T-shirts available as mentioned above.

Beneficiary Information

Proceeds go towards the purchase of school supplies for Platte County kids in need.
