Owensboro Family YMCA is proud to host the BBQ 5K on May 9th Downtown Owensboro.

• Date: May 9, 2026
• Location: 311 West Veterans Boulevard, Owensboro, KY
• Start Times: Competitive racers at 8:00 am: non-competitive racers at the back of the start line.

💵 Registration Pricing

• Adults: $35
• Children (1-18): $20 (registration will discount at the cart)
• Day of Race Registration: $40 (cannot guarantee shirt)
• Bag Pick Up: May 7 and 8 (5am to 9pm) at Owensboro Family YMCA, 900 KY Parkway, Owensboro

🏅 Awards

• Prizes: Top male and top female will get $100 worth of prizes.
• Medals: Given to the top 3 racers in each age group.
• Age Groups: 1-10, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99
• T-shirts: On registrations received by April 26th.

BBQ &: Barrels represents the culmination of 45 years of a cultural tradition in Owensboro and Daviess County. It is the celebration of our past, our present, and our future, bringing together two of Owensboro’s greatest culinary traditions – unique barbecue and historic Kentucky bourbon.
