🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The 2025 Superhero 5K, Kids Fun Run & Walk, hosted by Owensboro Health Foundation and Owensboro Health Healthpark, is a community event designed to honor Superhero Cancer Survivors and raise funds for the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center. Proceeds will provide assistance, support, and resources for patients.

🦸‍♂️ How to Participate and Support the Cause

1. Register for an Event: You can participate in one or more of the following events:

🏃‍♀️ 5K Race:

Entry Fee: $30 early bird entry fee by Aug. 31
Standard Fee: $40 after Sept. 1
Registration: Registration is completed on this site.

👧 Kids Fun Run:

Entry Fee: $10 per child
Medals: The first 200 kids registered receive a medal and t-shirt.
Registration: Registration can be completed at www.OwensboroHealth.org/Superheroes.

🚶‍♂️ Superhero Walk:

Free Entry: Cancer Survivors can participate in the walk for FREE! A team event honoring our superhero survivors!
Entry Fee: $30 per person.
Team Participation: There is no limit to the number of members per team.
Symbolic Laps: Each lap has symbolic meaning in honor of survivors, caregivers, and those lost.

Registration Opens: July 22
Event Date: Saturday, September 27th
Shirt Deadline: Register by Monday, Sept. 8
Online Registration Deadline: Thursday, Sept. 24 at 5:00 p.m.

8 a.m. – 5K Race
9:15 a.m. – Kids Fun Run
9:45 a.m. – Awards for 5K Race and Kids Fun Run
10 a.m. – Start of Superhero Walk
8 to 11 a.m. – Music, Food, Kids’ Activities & Games

🎉 Awards and Benefits

Prizes: Awards will be given for each event as well as for top fundraisers.
Participant Benefits: All registered participants will enjoy food, beverages, and activities.
